Animation World Network

The long anticipated renovation of the Animation World Network main web site has been launched and can now be seen at AWN.com in all its glory. The new site boasts a new infrastructure built on Drupal, an open-source and very powerful platform that will go the distance with AWN and its future endeavors.

AWN's previous infrastructure was a custom built content management system that was devised over the past 14 years by a number of various programmers that have been employed by AWN. Needless to say, sometimes working with the legacy system was hard, and in general the network of sites needed a facelift. After we developed AWNtv for AWN it was determined that the best approach would be to adapt the current network site to a new, more common, infrastructure.

6 months and 40,000 pieces of imported content later, the NEW Animation World Network was born.

VISHUN Studios has developed web sites for 10+ years and has finally decided to soft launch its own web site. Hold your applause, theres more.

Word of mouth has landed us various client projects, however we have reached the point where we have a lot more to offer and share outside of our web development services.

We are looking forward to offering "Online Ordering from almost Any Restaurant in the World" using our premiere in-house project, Hungry1. We plan to release a public beta in early 2010 and it will initially only be available to residents of the United States. First the USA, then the world.

In the upcoming months we will begin offering hosted LIVE streaming audio servers (shoutcast) that will allow you to broadcast live or have a hosted playlist of music that is available to stream live over the internet 24/7. Great for DJ's, restaurants, and all sorts of other implementations.
